My husband and I started attending classes here in June of this year and I’m so glad we did! As a female student who has never practiced any type of martial arts, I was nervous to get started in this sport. As soon as I met coach Issa, I knew I was in the right place! I felt welcome in this space right away and have been loving every class so far! Issa is an amazing coach! He is patient and breaks things down so they are easy to understand! Everyone who trains here is so friendly and welcoming. I’m so excited for this journey and what is to come!

If you're looking for an amazing, supportive, and teaching bjj gym, this is the place. My boyfriend has been coming to One Love for about 2 years now consistently. It is his passion. Issa and his classmates play a huge part in that. I have seen my boyfriend and others here compete in competitions and see One Love's overwhelming support for each other. They offer various classes and times that can fit into anyone's
schedule for everybody. No one gets excluded.

Issa Able is one of the most talented black belts I have ever come across. He upholds the highest of standards of a true martial artist: While he is an absolute beast on the mats when it comes to skill, he is soft spoken, kind, and great teacher. One Love Grappling Arts is the place to be for Jiu Jitsu in Phoenix.

I have trained all throughout the country at some of the most recognizable gyms under world champion black belts, and can 100% say that One Love is a top notch school. Issa is not only a fantastic and highly skilled competitive black belt, but a great instructor and teacher. He breaks down the techniques for everyone to understand, and truly cares about all of his students constantly improving. I came in as a seasoned brown belt, and the level of skill and training at the school is very high, while the vibe is relaxed and friendly. The first day I was there I knew it was where I wanted to train as everyone was super welcoming. They have a great selection of both gi and nogi classes as well. I highly recommend anyone checking out the gym from beginner white belt to experienced black belt.

Traveling to the area for a wedding, and I did a drop in to the 5:30 Gi class. Everyone was very welcoming, and was excited to have me there with them. I got a lot of really good rolls in, and got to see a lot of different looks and games that I’ve never seen/do see at my own Academy. So that was really awesome for me. Everyone rolled very safe and very technical. All the guys I rolled with were just trying to get some good training in and have a good time. Watch out for that brown belt and his worm guard lapel wizardry! That was a new one for me! Overall, 10/10 and would recommend to anyone in town looking for a place to drop in, or anyone looking for a place to join and learn.
